Children Ministry is recruiting for

COMMUNITY CONCERN
1.CHRISTMAS HAMPERS PROGRAM
a.This year we are partnering with Markham Food Bank and will prepare 400 hampers for families in need in the Markham area. Markham Food Bank will prepare all the food items, while our church will provide the manpower. We encourage brothers and sisters to help in the following areas to serve our neighbours during this special season.
– Hamper packing and handling helpers on Monday December 12th (11am -2pm, 5pm-8pm)
– Phone call ambassadors (welcome families and remind them to pick up their hampers)
– Delivery ambassadors (delivering hampers to selected families)on the following dates
Tuesday December 13th – 2pm-5pm, 5pm-8pm
Thursday December 15th – 2pm-5pm, 5pm-8pm
b.We now looking for volunteers (max 3 people per shift) to help with the registration for the hampers at Markham Food Bank at the following times:
Nov 1st – Nov 29th
Tuesday 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Thursday: 12pm – 2:30pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 11:00am
Brothers and sisters can join or go as a group of 2-3 selecting your preferred date.

2.CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE
As part of our Christmas Hamper program, we will be including toys for families with children. We are looking to collect 400 NEW toys valued $10-$15 each. Toy donations( without wrapping) can be dropped off at church every Sunday till December 4 (before and after worship).
Alternatively, donations will also be accepted. Please write down “Hamper” on your offering envelope under “Others”
Special offering received after deadline will go to church general fund

a.Pastor Kenneth Cheng will be leaving his internship at Logos on Nov 15th, 2022. May our Lord continue to guide His servant according to His plan.
b.Rev. George Mah will be leading a group of ministry leaders to Israel on a study tour from November 12th-24th . The goal of is to equip leaders with a chronological view of Christ’s life and ministry foundations.
