ARISE NEWS
Our softball team, ARISE, plays today at 4pm to 6pm at Wigmore Park (106 Wigmore Dr., North York, ON M4A 2G1). All are encouraged to come and cheer the team on.
Mission News
Rev. David To and Mrs Julia To are headed to the mission field in Cambodia in early September. Commissioning ceremony will be held today during CM Service.
EM News
1.Prayer Meeting is at 8pm on Wednesdays on Zoom. It is a great opportunity to care for others and be cared for. Come and walk in community with us. Click Here

2. Logos is seeking librarians from 10:30am – 10:45am and 12:15pm – 12:30pm on Sundays. It just takes 15 minutes per Sunday a couple of times every other month.
3.Time to refresh Refresh!
We are asking everyone to take a quick survey about what they would like from a small group in the fall. Those that want to stay in the same group can, others may like a change or something different, perhaps you would like to join a group. Please take the following survey and help us plan. COMMUNITY CONCERN
1.Community Movie Night
Our community movie night will be held on August 19/20 at 7pm in our gymnasium. We will invite brothers and sisters, our friends and neighbours to come enjoy the movie, and take this opportunity to connect with them.
Arrangements as follows:
Outdoor BBQ: 5pm-7pm
Movie time: 7pm
We will be showing the movie “Wonder” on Friday, and the movie “Encanto” on Saturday. To register for free tickets please contact our community concern representatives (Jason Yip ,Raymond Tam or Martin Li).
Tickets are available for pick up from church on Aug 14th from 10:00am-1:00pm; and on Aug 15th & 16th from 6:00-9:00pm (while quantity last).

2. Community walk
We invite brothers and sisters to stay behind for a light lunch at 12:30pm. We will be walking our church neighbourhood and inviting them to our movie nights right after.
3.After School Program Volunteers Recruitment
We are looking for brothers and sisters who are committed to Jesus Christ and enjoy working with children to join our After School Program Team! You will be assisting in program planning, preparation and guiding children in activities. For further details please contact Joanne Cheung (joannec.cheung@gmail.com) or any one of our pastors.
ADMINSTRATION AFFAIRS
Special Church Council Meeting: There will be a special Church Council meeting on August 14th 2022 from 2pm to 4pm via Zoom, for the purpose of meeting up with Cantonese pastoral candidate. Council members, deacons, and pastors please make yourself available to attend.
