COMMUNION

Communion will be held during next week’s in-person worship, July 10th. Please prepare your bread and grape juice in advance for those who livestream.

 

ARISE NEWS

Our softball team, ARISE, plays their next game at 4PM on Saturday, July 9th at Wigmore Park (106 Wigmore Dr., North York, ON M4A 2G1). All are welcome to come and cheer the team on.

 

EM News

1.Prayer Meeting is at 8pm on Wednesdays on Zoom. It is a great opportunity to care for others and be cared for. Come and walk in community with us. Click Here

2.  Logos is seeking librarians from 10:30am – 10:45am and 12:15pm – 12:30pm on Sundays.  It just takes 15 minutes per Sunday a couple of times every other month.

 
MISSION NEWS

1.133rd Milliken Scouts Group is looking for volunteers to help out as leaders in this ministry. If you are 18+, have a heart for children and students, and love to be outdoors this is a great opportunity for you. If you are interested or have any questions, please email

2.Our missionaries Wendy and KK Kwan will be returning to Tijuana, Mexico this coming Thursday July 7th. May our Lord grants them a smooth and safe journey back to Tijuana, and that their serving there be a blessing to the people there.

 

COMMUNITY CONCERN

1.Community Yard Sale 2022

Our Church will be hosting a Community Yard Sale on July 16th, 2022 Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm in the church parking lot. We encourage fellowship/small group/families/individuals to register for a booth to sell items. Please register at community@logosbaptist.org or contact one of our community concern reps (Martin Li, Raymond Tam or Jason Yip) to take part.  For further details, please refer to the bulletin insert and our church web site.

2.Community Walk & Flyer Distribution

Brothers and sisters are invited to stay for lunch on July 10th 12:30pm and join us for a community walk to connect with and invite our neighbours to come for our yard sale. We will start the walk right after lunch and the walk will be around one hour.

a.We are now recruiting “Coordinator – After School Program” starting in Sepetember.  Please refer to our website for more information.

b.We are now accepting nominations for congregation representatives (2 seats) pertaining to Bylaw 13.1.2.3.14 Interested members please submit your name to office@logosbaptist.org.

Deadline for nomination is July 17,2022.

2.Church Covid Measures Update

We will continue to use face masks inside the church .

3.Church In-person Gatherings

Sister Lai Yee Mak went home to be with the Lord on June 25th. May God comfort her family at this difficult time.
