Celebration
As we finish off our 1st and 2nd Timothy series about the importance of making a disciple of Jesus, we’ll be starting our new summer message series next Sunday, July 5th. For this summer, we will be having a message series focused upon the life of King David through 1st and 2nd Samuel and what it means to live after God’s heart as a disciple. Additionally, we ask that you refer to the provided sermon reflection sheets to help you reflect on the passage and applications during the week.
Special Arrangement for Church Activities — Special Arrangement for Church Activities — In response to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, church meetings and activities will be suspended or held in the form of online gatherings, please visit the church website for more information.
Community Concern
Logos Curbside Donations Drive —will be held on July 11th from 9 AM to 1PM in our church parking lot. Donations will be distributed to three charitable organizations: Markham Food Bank, Urban Promise, and Sanctuary Toronto (more details will be announced later).
Koinonia Virtual Summer Camp

Deacon Board Announcements
a. The Deacon Board has passed a motion to postpone our Annual General Meeting (AGM) tentatively to September 20th, 2020, subject to the lifting of the state of emergency in Ontario.
b. As an interim measure, the Board has passed a motion to extend Rev. George’s current contract as Acting Senior Pastor to September 30th, 2020.
News of Children Ministry
Starting from July 5th, 2020, we require all participants to register to join any of the Children Programs: Sunday morning worship, fellowship, etc. For more details and to download forms, please go to https://www.logosbaptist.org/chm-2/
Others
1. Special Offering
a. We will continue to collect a special offering until July 4th for Urban Promise to bless those in need in the Greater Toronto Area who live in government housing. If you want to participate, please use the tithe.ly app and choose Give to: “Others” and in the “Note” section please write: “Urban Promise”.
b. Urban Promise exists to reach children in Toronto Community Housing with the love of Jesus, and raise them into leaders, who restore their community. Their desire is to see a generation of young leaders from Toronto Community Housing who love Jesus and serve their community.
c. Other than using Tithe.ly, the church will accept mail-in cheque offering . Please follow the attached instructions. Do not mail cash or drop off your tithing in person as the church building is closed.
2. News of members
Congratulation to Cecilia You and Peter Zhang for their marriage yesterday on Saturday June 27th. May God bless this new family.
3.News of Pastors, co-workers and church office
a. Pastors and office staffs will be off on Tuesday July 1st to observe Canada Day and will be back to work on Wednesday July 2nd.
b. Vivien Tjon will be on leave from June 29th to July 3rd, and will be back to work on Monday July 6th.
