We pray that you and your families are safe and healthy during these challenging times. It is reassuring to see the number of new cases decreasing daily and the government working on gradually re-opening the province. Our leadership team is actively developing a plan for the eventual re-opening of our church building. We ask for your patience during this time. The following priorities guide our planning:
- The health and safety of our staff, volunteers and congregants
- Proactive measures to safeguard against the potential of a second wave of this virus
- Provide a safe and meaningful experience for all physical gatherings and worship services
- Continual emphasis on the great commandment and commission: love God, love our neighbour. We have the mandate to care for one another and protect our communities as we point them to Jesus.
In the upcoming weeks, we will start with the gradual re-opening of our church office in a manner that is safe and follows the provincial guidelines. We will not be opening the church building for services and gatherings at this time. We are mindful of the fact that we have many families with young children and seniors in our church community and will only proceed with re-opening the church when we can do it safely and make the worship and gathering experience meaningful.
In addition to the ongoing monitoring of new cases and directives from the province, our leadership team continues to have dialogues with the CBOQ as well as neighbouring churches to ensure necessary adjustments are made and proactive steps are taken to care for our church family, our neighbours and our community as a whole. While this work is being done, we invite you to continue to access and participate in our various ministries online.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We look forward to keeping you updated on how things will unfold as we strive to minimize any potential transmission of the virus when we resume in person services/ministries. Take care, stay safe, stay healthy. God Bless!

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
